Whilst training is normally continuous, there is provision for both part time and interrupted training. Any part time or interrupted training will be offered at the discretion of the training committee and must be approved prospectively.
The training committee considers full time training to be 36 hours per week, divided between supervised and unsupervised clinical work, and includes compulsory weekly tutorials. Research time is not included as part of the 36 hours.
