Radiologists utilize a vast array of imaging technologies for diagnostic or interventional services. Radiology is an exciting, rapidly growing and ever changing specialty due to the increasing dependence on medical imaging and the fast pace of technological change.
As expert diagnosticians, radiologists consult with doctors from all specialties. This requires specialists who are excellent communicators, work well in a team and have a broad knowledge base.

The increasing interventional component of radiology is becoming a sub specialty and requires excellent clinical and diagnostic skills and manual dexterity.
