For entry into basic training, applicants must obtain a position in a hospital accredited for basic training by the Committee for paediatric physician training. Similarly, candidates will need to secure an advanced training position at an accredited training hospital, and then register the position with the college for prospective approval.
Every June, the RACP Training Positions Supplement is released providing information on basic and advanced training positions in hospitals in Australia and New Zealand.
