
The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) administers two training programs: Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine. It also administers the Intensive Care Medicine training program jointly with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
The Faculty of Pain Medicine is the body responsible for training, education and standards for Pain Medicine in Australia and New Zealand. The Faculty of Pain Medicine was established within the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), incorporating true multidisciplinary representation from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP) (AFRM RACP).
The Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine is the body responsible for training, education and standards for intensive care medicine in Australia and New Zealand. It is a joint faculty of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
