International Course on Pain Medicine(ICPM)
The 1st International Course on Pain Medicine(ICPM) will take place on 28-31 May, 2009 in Granada Congress & Exhibition Center, Granada, Spain.
Organized by Paragon Conventions and endorsed by SED, APED and APMCG the Course, a first of its kind, aims to provide an overview of chronic pain management, diagnosis and most advanced treatment options available. A commercial exhibition will also take place parallel to the course hours for those who wish to display products related to pain management.
It will be an extremely essential course for Family doctors/general practitioners, anesthesiologists (with a special interest in pain), oncologists, orthopedists, physiatrists, neurologists and any physician managing regularly chronic pain patients.
Who is This Course For:
The ICPM aims at giving updated clinical information on the most prevalent chronic pain conditions.
Therefore, it will be highly valuable for any physician managing regularly chronic pain patients, in order to update or increase his/her knowledge on this very important and somehow neglected field of the medical practice.
Family doctors/general practitioners, anaesthesiologists with a special interest in pain, oncologists, orthopaedists, physiatrists, neurologists and rheumatologists, are some of the physicians that will benefit the most from attending to the ICPM.
General Information
Language: The official language of the meeting is English.
Exhibition: A commercial and professional exhibition will be take place during the Course, parallel to the Course hours.
Climate and Clothing: In May, which is spring, the daytime temperatures average 23°C (73F). Night time temperatures average 10°C (50F).
Clothing is informal for all occasions.
Insurance: The course organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to congress participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of the congress.
Visas: All visitors are required to have a valid passport, and for some countries, a visa is required.
Currency and money Exchange: The official currency in Spain is EURO (€). Foreign currency may be exchanged at banks, exchange offices, travel agencies, hotels, the airport, and railway stations.
Local Time: European summer time, one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1).
