From AMA Victoria:
This week, meetings of senior medical staff at both Northern Health and Southern Health voted in support of professional action. Doctors at both meetings expressed concerns about the failure of the Brumby Government to implement key Recommendations of the Ministerial Review. Their frustration was heightened due to the obvious need to finalse an EBA which will attract and retain doctors in the Victorian public hospital system.
We are awaiting responses from the VHIA and DHS on a number of AMA proposed agreement clauses.
