A recent report in The Age has highlighted the workforce and training issues facing Victoria's public health system. The state of Victoria has pay and award terms which are less favourable when compared to other states. Poor working conditions and lack of support for training as well as lack of training positions were of particular concern. Based on a yet to be released government report, it exposed the exploitation of junior doctors in Victoria's public health system.
